Chavez Ravine is/was a hassle to get to. 30-45 minutes to get into parking, over an hour to get out...which is why I understand when fans routinely leave in the 7th inning of CLOSE games. but uber/lyft have really changed the equation...
From first pitch to last out Dodger Stadium is a top five experience in baseball.

But if you think of it as from the moment you leave your house to the moment you get back home, it can be rough. Game 7 of the WS last year I killed an hour before even trying to leave and then it was ANOTHER hour to get out of the parking lot.

Hope some SOSHers make it out. Every baseball fan should see a game at Dodger Stadium.

A. The Dodgers are fucking obnoxious. Machado and Puig to name a few.

B. The Brewers are easier to beat.

C. Two cross country flights for the Red Sox. Jet lag works poorly for the guys going east to west.

D. Lot of distractions in LA. No distractions in Milwaukee.

E. Movie stars in the stands. I assume there are also hankies.

How could anyone want LA?
Regarding C, the Dodgers are gonna have to go east to west, too.

Oh great. Now you tell me. Why didn’t you say all this when I was trying to figure out who to root for? It might have made a difference!

A. Machado is a dick. Puig is awesome, stop telling him to get off your lawn.

B. Based on?

C. They have travel days and are used to it. If the flight difference from Milwaukee to LA is why the Sox lose, they don’t deserve it.

D. Milwaukee doesn’t have bars?

E. This helps us as they’re shit faux fans.

I don’t ‘want’ LA but it’s six of one...

Bring them on.

Well, if you live in So. Cal and have never been to a World Series game, this may be a chance for me to mortgage the house and see if I can scoff up a standing room ticket.
And it would be sweet to torture my Dodger fan friends.

We're going to annihilate this NL garbage. Just give Machado the Bregman treatment and it's Sox in 5

The stadium is beautiful. That parking lot is a disaster.

I wonder how much the Dodgers players are going to like the conditions at Fenway. It will be mid 40s at best for the two games.

I know the question was sarcastic/rhetorical, but I think Milwaukee has more bars per square mile than any other major city in the country.

I've been debating whether or not to drive up to Milwaukee for a game, so this probable outcome saves me some serious cash.
But it would have been fun

Sure but wait 'till you see our young hayseeds let loose in LA LA Land! Those southern and island kids will be all hopped up on goofballs and strung out in west hollyweird before you can say "Get off my lawn!"!

California. Duh.
In case nobody watched last year, the whole "show up in the 3rd, leave in the 7th" stereotype won't apply for World Series games. Say what you want about LA as a sports town, but the Dodgers are right there with the Lakers as far as being part of the fabric of the city.

Let’s pray the fuck Lasorda doesn’t croak in the next ten days. Don’t want to give them anything to rally around.

LA folks should also go watch at Sonny McLean’s in Santa Monica if you don’t get to Chavez Ravine. Great experience.
I'm thinking about doing that. I already had a trip planned to go to the USC game on Saturday and Rams-Packers on Sunday, so I'll be looking for a place to watch.

Milwaukee has bars, but they don’t have so many clubs. I don’t think visiting ball players at the World Series are passing the time drinking $2 tappers at Gordie’s Tap in St Francis or having fish fry on Friday night at Liquid Johnny’s in West Allis...

I can see Moreland doing some damage at Pink's

EDIT--almost forgot about Devers. He'll kill that place

If you're staying near USC or downtown, don't bother, it's overrated and traffic sucks. Stick to one of the bars/restaurants at LA Live (unless Fakers are playing same time)

I was going to tack on that, too...they’re professional athletes trying to win a Championship...acting like professionals. Plus there’s Tinder now anyway.

And ironically, it’s actually kind of a hike from Miller Park to the closest bar. Not as far as it is from Dodger Stadium, but it’s not a cozy downtown ballpark by any means.

Not that it looks like it’s going to matter...
