Baylor's last few passes there all had less than a 0% chance to success. That was pretty pathetic.

Texas survives.

I take back everything I said about Sam Ehlinger. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery because Texas is cooked without him.

That's a little harsh. Texas blitzed and got heavy pressure on every single one of those passes. I thought Brewer acquitted himself quite nicely for the most part.

Those passes never had a chance, that's all I'm saying. It was due to the pressure but it was laughable to watch. The passes were all completely uncatchable, when it's just better off to throw it to a guy and pray he can grab it somehow. A pass out of the end zone on 4th down is the worst of the bunch.

Penn State gives up a very long TD drive with a minute left. Down 4, 19 seconds left.

Another top 10 team goes down. If Texas last, this would have been a bloodbath.

One of them was catchable. But Brandon Jones couldn't come up with the interception.

I'll tell you what, it's about that time to start taking notice of 1 loss teams, and if the #1 one loss team in the standings isn't LSU this week, something is very, very wrong.

They've already beaten #8 Miami, #7 Auburn on the road and #2 Georgia. They lost to #22 Florida on the road, which was their only hiccup. And it doesn't get easier for them. They've got a ranked Mississippi State team next week, then Alabama, and they finish the year at Texas A&M.

I'm not saying they can beat 'Bama, but if they make a game of it (where nobody else has) and take care of business elsewhere, that's a really, really good 2 loss season for LSU, and I'm not an LSU fan by any means. Can't say they are ducking anybody with that schedule.

Generally, I agree with your point - LSU's schedule is good - but you can't really cite at-the-time rankings like this. Auburn isn't nearly as good as we thought and won't be ranked next week, and Miami may not either if Virginia beats them; Florida may be rather better than we thought, but Georgia may well be worse. Unfortunately, LSU needs to win out to make the playoff barring complete carnage and chaos, and I can't see anyone even coming close to Alabama at the moment.

So Wisconsin earned that dagger by its approach to a 17-point deficit with 10 minutes left.
