Heading west this weekend for a wedding and spending a week with family. I can watch at home, but no other baseball fans out there. Any place I can get to 30-60 minutes before game in that area to watch whoever is in the WS? I've got a place for ALCS 6 and 7 (if) near the wedding at least

I'll be out there for WS games 1-4 :(

Consider heading to Santa Monica if you have time. There is a place called Sonny Mcleans. It's a Boston sports bar owned by a guy from the Easton/Foxboro area. It was featured in the 2003 Red Sox DVD...."Still we believe"

I was very unimpressed with Sonny McLeans when I was there a few weeks ago. I get there on a Saturday an hour before the Red Sox game and it was all Notre Dame in every TV. I had to ask the bartender twice to turn one TV on the Red Sox. Literally the only three guys that were watching the Sox were me, my buddy that I was there with, and one other dude in his 50’s in a Red Sox jersey who managed to get a TV on the Sox game who was facing us. Everyone else was there for Notre Dame-Vanderbilt. Guy in the Sox jersey was probably a SOSH member.

It may have lost it's luster. I was there for Game 3 of the 05 ALDS and it was packed with Sox fans. I wonder if Dan Conners of Ma. still owns it.

It's Jim Conners and no, he sold it back in 2010. Run now by a guy from New Zealand and all bandwagon/poseur fans there now. Loyalists followed Jim to his new place, Garage/Motor Club in West LA. He also owns Rock N Pies in Santa Monica.

Interesting. A rock n pies opened up down the street from me in studio city. Might need to try it now.

A few weeks ago as in regular season? Perhaps. I’ve never gone there for a non-Patriots or non-playoff game because it’s a little bit of a drive for me. But for either of those two categories, there’s no place else to be in the LA area if you’re a Boston fan. It’s like being in a bar near Fenway.
