For the first time in my life, I am planning on not watching a Texas football game. I have missed games over the years due to various circumstances, but never on purpose. Many years I have watched every snap. But after last week, I am taking a break. Ten years in the wilderness is too much. Someone wake me up when Del Conte decides to run a real search for a coach with some skins on the wall.

Also, Gameday is in Collie Station, which will make all the aggy nonsense around here completely intolerable.

Some of these team nicknames are out of hand.

USF v Georgia Tech. USF gets ball first and throws a interception. GT Goes and kicks a fg. USF takes the kickoff for a td. GT gets ball back and after a few plays their QB with a nice run gets a td. And on the kickoff the guy takes it back for another td. GT after the kickoff tosses an 81 td pass.

Worth watching Clemson-Aggie tonight or naaaaah
If you ask me, yes. Clemson should take it easily, but think there's something of a chance Kelly Bryant is awful again. If so, in comes Trevor Lawrence in the in the Tagovailoa/Fields tier of underclassmen QBs I'm big on, but that'd be not only his first game against a big name opponent but in College Station, at night? I mean, there's a chance at least for some early funsies.

In full disclosure, I'll be watching USC/Stanford above Aggies/Clemson when it comes on.

Kudos to CBS for how they opened the SC- UGA game. Just showing the crowd for like 3 minutes. That was goosebump inducing.

Ball was out before he crossed. Not reviewing though. Football players are so fucking stupid. Why even chance celebrating early.

Edit never mind UGA jumped on it anyway

Yeah, it's both stupid and unhelpful at this point.
Yeah, I didn’t want to be the first to say something but typically this thread is very helpful when deciding what I need to set the DVR for, but this week it was just unusable. Please just do it straightforwardly in the future, thanks in advance.

Texas scores a whole touchdown! There’s even a rumor of a completed pass. I’m not actually watching the game, just getting updates from a friend, so I’ll believe this “completion” when I see it.

I don't understand why they wouldn't let one of the replays roll forward long enough to see where the ball landed. Then you can draw a line from where it was fumbled to where it landed, and probably tell from that whether it passed over or outside the pylon.

23-14! Samford not going away.
I'm an FCS junkie, and the Samford offense is the real deal. Devlin Hodges puts up huge numbers. He's got 317 yards passing in the first half, and he's got a legit #1 wideout in Kelvin McKnight whose over 125 yards receiving and 2td's already. Funny side note, I'm pretty sure Hodges is also their punter.

Oh boy, Texas was leading 21-0 at halftime. It's now 21-14 against Tulsa. If Tulsa wins this one....

Colorado State erases a 27-9 deficit, and comes all the way back, and just took a 34-27 lead on Arkansas with 8 seconds left. Down with the SEC...
