Very abbreviated but so, so, so nice to have Wilf and Sakho and Cabaye back. 1-0 good guys after a goal off a rebound from Tomkins. Critical match for Palace

And Charlie Adam sent off on a questionable call for the Stoke/Everton game in snowy Stoke.

The Terriers are giving it a go, but they lack quality in the final ball or a bit of skill to get space to get a decent shot. But they are getting the ball i the final third, in and around the box, but the Palace keeper's had nowt much to do.

Zaha is a fun player to watch. Benteke...gets paid a lot to do a little.

I think Charlie Adam should focus on the punditry now. He's a decent pundit, but a sluggish thuggish presence on the pitch these days, his cultured feet of yore an ever distant memory.

I can't see us getting many goals from these three 'six' pointers. If Pardew loses his job at the close of play there will be nary a belch of indifference.

I love, love, love Zaha and want him on my team forever. I agree with you on Benteke. He apparently is one of the unluckiest players in the league in terms of expected goals, but at some point you have to start thinking it’s not about bad luck and more about bad finishing.

My kingdom for 3 points today. I will feel so much better about surviving if Palace can win today given the upcoming schedule.

You know far more about the sport than I, but does anyone think there is any way WBA survives given the logjam above?

They can't buy a win and they need, say six wins and 2 draws to hit 40 points. Never happening. I reckon if they get rid of Pardew before Moyes gets shown the door at West Ham, and they might be able to go in a more dynamic direction.

Palace up by two now. Big result this, Huddersfield are not a come behind team and don't have many goals in them of late.

That was a happy 30 seconds for a Palace fan. Bolasie assist and Townsend earning a penalty converted by Milovojevic for a 2-0 lead.

I think that 36-37 May do it this year, but your point is still well taken. But if they have 23 after this, well I’m not thrilled as a Palace fan.

I wonder if Pardew is WBA’s best hope. The big knock on him with Palace is that he refused to “respect the point” and always went for 3. That may be what they need

And fucking Stoke score now. FML.

The 718
Adam should not have been sent off. It was a little late and a little high but there was no malice in it at all. It’s not like I would have been hopping mad if it hadn’t been red. Far worse goes uncalled.

Stoke fought hard but just didn’t/don’t have the horses. In the last 20 minutes, as stokes fatigue from playing a man down set in, Everton found plenty of space and could have had more.

Not against world class competition but Tosun with a brace now has 4 goals in the last 3 games. I’m not at the fanboy stage yet, but I’m well past skeptic and into the believer zone. Nice streak of ruthlessness.

Only downside is that now that they’re safe if they finish too strong Sam might not get the axe. Funny thing, rooting for less than good results.

Salah! EPL full backs must have nightmares where they Salah running at them with the ball.

Also, great way to bounce quickly after the loss at Old Trafford. This squad has the same kind of confidence and resilience that Klopp's best Dortmund sides did.

I love that Salah stays on his feet. So many times you see him in the box and he could go down and try and buy a penalty but he stays up, and keeps doing his thing, twisting and turning. Great to see.

This may be hyperbole, I know Salah is not Messi but he may be turning into the next best thing. His quickness and ability to turn in the box is breathtaking. It's like he has the ball tied to his feet.

52 points in FPL for captained Salah thus far. Guess I didn't really have to use the free hit this week.

California. Duh.
The crazy thing is that in the first few games of the season Salah missed a handful of really good scoring chances. He could actually have 4 or 5 more very easily.

McLeish probably will not pick him, but that's another story.
I've thought about this, and i wonder, can we get Tierney and Robertson in the same side? I prefer Robertson, but i really like Tierney and I'd think if there's a way to get them both playing - on the same side of the field - i would like McLeish to try it out. Could Robertson play left-mid?

Chelsea 1-0 up at halftime over Leicester in the last FA Cup QF.

It's inevitable that Chelsea and Spurs will draw each other in the semis, while Man Utd will get Southampton.
