Suh is a dirty mofo but he could be OUR dirty mofo. I’d take him. Sign him and trade Malcolm Brown for more draft capital. Championship!
Well, if they get Suh it will remind me of when they signed alleged malcontent Corey Dillon back in 2004. That worked out beautifully.

As the late Al McGuire once said, "It's OK to have one Donkey on your team, but you can't have two, because they breed."

Different. Dillon was high maintenance and at the end in Cincy, unprofessional. Suh is a thug. (There are a half dozen videos I can post, if necessary.)

It would be hard to root for him. Life is complicated.

They brought in Haynesworth who had a similar rep, and sorry but Rodney Harrison was universally thought to be the dirtest player in the league when they signed him.

Edit: Obviously talking about the prospect of Suh. In Bill we Trust on these things.

Is he a thug or did he just act like one????

Too bad about Danny A but at that much money don't blame him - plus Florida taxes really helps him maximize probably his last big contract, if not his last contract ever.

Trusted sources are reporting that this third storm was the deciding factor in Danny's decision to sign with the Dolphins.

Good for Danny, getting him some monies. He helped the team I love do great things and I wish him well.

Also: If the choice were the Patriots being worse in 2018 without Suh or better with him, I'd prefer the former.

Packers cut Jordy Nelson.

“Hey Jordy, it’s Tom.....”
Sign: Solder, Suh, and Nelson and then attack everything else through the draft. If not Solder, then another veteran LT while they groom Garcia (who hopefully will be a starter in 2019). Suh is dirty and I don't like them, but then, Rodney was considered the dirtiest player in the league too. He's a force. Nelson would be a great addition.

9.1 YPC last year - he's been on the decline for a couple of years
Considering he only played 4 games with Aaron Rodgers last season, I wouldn't read too much into his 2017 numbers. And he had a 97-1257-14 season in 2016.

If the money were right, I'd roll the dice. He's not as much of a deep threat as he used to be but as long as we have Gronk, Cooks, and Hogan, I'm not sure he'd need to be.

Glad you aren’t the GM in Foxboro. Nelson is cooked. Suh too expensive.

It wasn’t just the QB though. He was struggling to get his normal separation. With Cooks, Edelman, Britt, Dorsett, Hogan, and maybe Mitchell, I don’t see WR as a real need. Obviously some injury and “fit” concerns there but I think we’re ok as long as Edelman returns to close to what he was.

Definitely on the decline, but....
22 catches 258 yards and 6 TDs when Rodgers played. Puts him at 11.7 YPC, which while his worst year is still pretty good.

As with all signings it depends on the price, but I'd hesitate to call him done, he's probably a similar level WR as Hogan at this point.

Oh no...you said the "t" word. You must be very racist. I am exaggerating a little bit Actually I have tons of respect for you but still the word thug should be eliminated. I thought in the other thread we went over the racial connotation of the word. Would it not be better to say that Suh is a consistant rule breaker and a heel on the field? The "t" word should be avoided at all cost just like we no longer say the"f" word that rhymes with mag or the "n" word.

Jordy Nelson is not cooked. He led the NFL in TDs up until Aaron Rodgers got injured. Afterwards he had Hudley throwing ducks to him. I would love to have Nelson on the team.
He would fit in perfectly with the Patriots. Cook and Nelson on the outside. Edelman in the slot. Gronk at TE. James White in thr backfield. Big WR with great hands already playing in a cold environment - him being a white WR is cool with Belichick too.

deep inside Guido territory
Everybody chastising Nelson is expecting him to be the #1 type WR which he isn't. If he can come in and be Brady's 4th or 5th option I'd say that is good depth. I'm not counting on the likes of Kenny Britt, Phillip Dorsett, or the knees of Malcolm Mitchell.

If Jordy isn’t done, as you suggest, he’ll have plenty of better offers. I think he might have a little left but is mostly done as an impact guy.
