Something about Sterling?Whose name were they chanting? “There’s only one...(?)”
A lot of it is Liverpool's pressure, but Pep has also run his first XI into the ground. KDB has started every game so far. I wonder if they're running out of gas a little. This has been well played by Liverpool but this is as sloppy as I’ve seen City all year. Some of it undoubtedly due to Liverpool’s pressure, but just about everyone for City has been a touch off with the ball.
Been a lot of injuries, not sure there's much choice. Now that the run will be broken we can make a city thread and discuss.A lot of it is Liverpool's pressure, but Pep has also run his first XI into the ground. KDB has started every game so far. I wonder if they're running out of gas a little.
Yeah, could be. Just a bunch of abnormally poor touches all around the team.A lot of it is Liverpool's pressure, but Pep has also run his first XI into the ground. KDB has started every game so far. I wonder if they're running out of gas a little.
I’ve never been an Ox fan but he’s been big. And this is the best I’ve seen Robertson play (in admittedly limited sample size)Ox and Robertson have been great today.
How can you not be afraid? Is everyone else afraid of basically anything on frame?
Looking at the replay, it looked pretty shoulder to shoulder, possibly a slight shove but not a clear call. Seemed like the kind of challenge that the defender gets the benefit of the doubt on when they do it to the attacker, but the attacker rarely gets the call on in that position when they do it.Was imo a very clear foul by Firmino that turned this but very impressive from Liverpool today and they deserve the points. Created pressure all over the pitch and players who can usually cope like Fernandinho have wilted.
Kicker reported a muscle injury for Pulisic.Anyone know what’s up with Pulisic not playing or being on the bench? Sounds like PEA is suspended but no mention on broadcast since I tuned in on Pulisic.
By pretty shoulder to shoulder do you mean shoulder to back? He runs into him and the ball comes free. I think it's an error but Stones has to be stronger anyway and if he's unsure of the strikers position he can boot it away. It was dumb and poor and in the end the scoreline flattered City who completely lost their minds for 15 minutes after thisLooking at the replay, it looked pretty shoulder to shoulder, possibly a slight shove but not a clear call. Yes, I believe so.Do FA cup red card suspensions carry over to regular Prem. league games?
