WTF? Therre was so clearly a whistle during the play, why would they not stop the play at least?

How can nobody in the entire production crew go back and hear that whistle? Even if he wasn’t down it negates the TD return.
The luckiest man in all of this is McDonough. If that stood, his Peter Brady call would have lived forever.
Why are they now running out of QB under center, when they were doing anything they wanted with the read option with Henry/Mariota out of the gun? So fucking stupid to go conservative here.
