I know we all like to rag the Habs because they won all their titles in a six team league, but at least they've won in the modern era. Leafs haven't even made the finals since expansion. What a bunch of jokers. I know everyone is all excited about them now but I'm not that impressed. And their fucking fans...
About 10 years ago a group of jersey clad Leafs fans stopped me and a couple of my buddies on causeway after a game (we didn't attend, were just out drinking) wanting to know where to go for beers. As my buddies talked with them one of the kids looks at my 1969 Washington Senators hat, smirks, and says "that's an expos hat." When I told him he didn't know what he was talking about he launched into a lecture about the expos. I quickly cut him off, showed him the tag on my hat, and told him that while they may be able to come to Boston and talk shit about hockey knowledge, don't try that with baseball.
I sent them to a little bar that I know is always welcoming to out of towners- place called Sullys.
