Verlander seems to be running out of gas but does anybody have faith in the Astros bullpen right now? Catch 22 situation.

JV got awful lucky there - the 0-0 was a complete nothing ball that he just missed and then that one too.

Maybe Springer could have had the DP if he'd pushed off the wall before throwing it in.

Chavez' catch was significantly better.
Agreed given some time to decompress, as the heat of the moment got the best of me, plus the fact it's the Yankees. To quote Bob Feller: "I would rather beat the Yankees regularly than pitch a no-hit game." Always counts for a bonus in my book with reaction, at times irrationally over the top, to a play.

I also think Houston has to go to the bullpen now, with the top of the order due up. Don't think these guys are dead for tonight yet.
