Who you got?

I'm hoping Arizona, but their pitching is a mess

Yeah, I think Ray definitely would have started this game, he was awesome against LA this year.

This is a series that is far from over with Robbie Ray and Greinke going in games 2 and 3 for ARI. Ray's three starts in LA this season were all dominant:

6 3 2 1 4 10
6 5 1 1 4 13
7.2 3 0 0 0 14 (Sept. 4)

Mack's first job as a major league manager came late in the 1894 National League season, but he was managing the minor league Milwaukee Brewers from 1897-1900. Harry Wright, manager of the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings, was let go by the Philadelphia Phillies after the 1893 season, so Mack missed managing against him by less than a year. The National League did create a token job of "Chief of Umpires" for Wright for the 1894-95 seasons (he died in October 1895), so he was technically still in the game... not to mention, as a player, Mack played against Wright-managed teams for several years.

Another way to look at it is that in Mack's rookie year as a player (1886), he was a teammate of 43-year-old Joe Start, who began his career in baseball's amateur era, and led the National Association in games played in its inaugural 1871 season. Later on he was a teammate of Deacon White, who also played in the 1871 NA season. The problem with all of this is you'd have to ignore the 1897-1900 seasons that Mack spent managing in the minors.

Have the Red Sox even hit the outfield wall on the fly versus Houston? Some of these home runs are just crushed.
