So, Friday's my birthday. It's been a mixed bag for the Bruins in the playoffs.

One standout recent highlight from a birthday game was 2011. In the crucible that Le Centre Bell, the Bruins clawed back from several deficits in-game, and thanks to PSK C-137's loveslave, Michael Ryder, came back to Boston with a level series. I think that went well.

This is a Canadian Tire:

An actual Canadian Tire store is like Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and the shittiest Advance Auto vomitted into a puddle and made a horrible rewards system to make idiots think they were getting money back.

This is the Canadian Tire Centre:

Likely full of Leafs fans from southern Ontario that live in Ottawa to work for the government, I'd rather linger in the outdoor/hockey section of a CT store than catch the "thrills" of a game at an arena that is only about 20 years old, yet the team can't wait to abandon. And in case anyone thinks the Bruins should be worried about the crowd at a Senators game, well, all I can say is, I know the Bell Centre. I've seen some of the most hostile Quebecois simultaneously threatening me while trying to call the RCMP to arrest Chara for being mean to Max Pacioretty. You, Canadian Tire Centre, are no Bell Centre.

Fuck Ottawa.

Fuck Erik Karlsson, who, according to NBC, is the love child of Thor and Robert Gordon Orr, as sacrilegious a concept as you can find.

Fuck Dion Phaneuf, the biggest poser in the NHL by a country mile.

Fuck Bobby Ryan, a Jersey Shore reject that couldn't score on an empty net before this series.

Fuck Guy Boucher, with a face of Le Chiffre but the ruthlessness of an Austin Powers villain.

Fuck Alex Burrows, just because that dirty little shit should be spitroasted by Ron Jeremy clones from now until the end of fucking time.

But most of all, fuck Ottawa "fans" that couldn't find Kanata on a map if you spotted them the 400-series road it's on from October to mid-April, but will suddenly come out of the woodwork if they win this series, claiming to be lifelong fans.

Fuck Ottawa. Bearataur rides again, leaving bodies in its wake.

Between here and everywhere.
I just want to watch a few more game of Charlie McAvoy. I want his first career goal to be a playoff goal. I want him to get this experience so next season the regular season is childs play to him.

I'm not ready to not have a heart-attack every other night watching meaningful playoff hockey.

Beat these fucking nerds.

Are y'all protecting the Civic? Is still that a thing? Or was it retired when Thomas went to the Islanders?

Celts and Broons have lost a combined 5 straight playoff games. That turns into 2 wins tomorrow.
Technically it's 7 since the Celtics dropped their last two against the Hawks in the first round last year, which makes it 3 for the Bruins, 2 for Celtics in 2017 and 2 for the Celtics in 2016. Yay misery.

Might as well add the Sox sweep last year. 10. Nice round figure.

Yeah I just meant since the B's won game 1 and things were looking up, they have lost 5 straight. This is supposed to be fun, dammit.

Spooner could be a scratch tonight. Fluto has the morning skate lines as:

Marchand - Bergeron - Backes
Stafford - Krejci - Pastrnak
Moore - Nash - Acciari
Schaller - Kuraly - Vatrano

I wouldn't mind it. He has showed less than nothing thus far this series.

Spooner, Beleskey, Krejci, Hayes, Backes for most of the year... death by passengers

Thankfully Rondo is out with that broken finger. Or is Kimbrel not available tonight either? That's relevant here too, right? Too much going on this evening to keep track of it all. Either way, Win x3 is all I ask for.

Soooo... I'm flying back to New Mexico for the weekend to see my kids for the first time in 2 months, and the last time until August.

I would also like for Wednesday's debacle to not be the ladt Bruins game I see this year. Which means I really need them to win tonight.

Please make it so.

I have not seen much of him play, so this is definitely a question and not criticism, but if you're sitting Spooner should JFK be an option?

Is Kuraly really a better option at C than Acciari/Moore? Not arguing he should or shouldn't be playing, but the latter two guys have played center at the NHL level

I don't think they want to break up the 28/20/55 line, hence Kuraly. That line has been arguably their 2nd best all series when together. As for JFK, I don't think there's much difference between Kuraly and JFK at this point. Kuraly is not exactly a seasoned vet, but at this point they trust him a bit more than JFK.

Here's screenshots of Spooner defending on the lone goal Wednesday. Likely the straw that broke the camels back. Win or lose tonight he may not play again as a Bruin.

They mentioned on the radio that two guys were chasing the point but I didn't realize it was that bad. That's some men's league level shit right there.

Bruins should have had 2 or 3 goals in the first period of game 4. Tonight: Score early, score often, don't leave this game up to any officiating bullshit or luck.

GO BRUINS!!!

Me and PSK are directly above Spooner's head in that first picture looking on in disapproval

Yep, I think Spooner is gone.

I don't mind Kuraly tonight. He's strong and he'll skate his lane and he probably won't see much ice time. On, and he's not Belesky.

We're not getting any scoring from centers not named Patrice anyway since Krejci got hurt.

Kid crushed it. Good for him.

Now get the fuck off the ice so the Bruins can fuck up this scrub team.
