Single game tickets go on sale today. I'm willing to set aside all of the crimes, negligence, and stupidity and embrace minor league baseball in the capital city.

I'll set aside my hesitation to give these fools my money, but only if they charge a reasonable price for a hot dog.

I really hope it works out this year. It would be great to have baseball in that part of CT
The stadium looks great. Plenty of $5 parking in the area and public transportation. The rock cats always drew well. Plenty of baseball fans in the area.

In fairness to Josh, we he made that statement, never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined any city doing something so insane. It's like me telling my wife it's forever. And then a year later, Giselle asks me to marry her.

Anyone been there or know how the stadium is set up sun wise? Probably going to a game in June and would prefer to not be looking into the sun.

I went to a game there recently. Great set-up. If it's an evening game, get seats on the 1st base side and the sun won't be an issue. It set's up that the 1st base line from home plate runs pretty close to directly South.

Seems reviews have been uniformly positive on the park and game day experience

Of course, same was said at the opening of rentschler field. ...

I took my kid there about 10 days ago, very nice park. If you get there early there is a nice spot down the left line where you are overlooking left field and you've got a nice ledge for your beer and the smell of Bears Smokehouse right behind you. Pretty good view of the skyline as well. Best seat in the house.
Had to leave in the 6th but got from the parking lot to the Berlin tpke in about 10 minutes

Went yesterday. Goats win on a walk off nubber scoring 4 in the 9th. Really nice ballpark. I recommend the upper porch in right field which overhangs below, a la Tiger Stadium (don't sit below, it is screened in). Also any upper level seat closer in, you are right on top of the action. Plenty of beer options in the CF bar (though food needs work in general) and parking is cheap! We were outta there in no time.
