Yeah, 10-4 and a #6 ranking was a bitter disappointment in Harbaugh year two.Considering all Michigan fans can do is root against Ohio State after another gigantic failure of a season, I'd say he's already won.

10-3...don't make it worse!Yeah, 10-4 and a #6 ranking was a bitter disappointment in Harbaugh year two.
Gigantic failure of a season? Please. Year two and harbaugh made them relevant. People forget how bad Michigan was for a long time.
Michigan had a billion seniors, a bunch of NFL prospects and eight home games. The results? Another loss to OSU. No B1G title. No playoff. Not even a bowl win. Zero out-of-state wins against teams not named "Rutgers." Gigantic failure.Yeah, 10-4 and a #6 ranking was a bitter disappointment in Harbaugh year two.

Meyer took over a 6-7 team and didn't lose a regular season game his first two years. Tressel took over a team that had gone 6-7 and 8-4 the previous two years, beat Michigan each of his first two years including as a big dog on the road with a third-string QB making his first start and then won a national title in his second year. Poor St. Jimmy just has the deck stacked against him though.
This is so stupid. Because Urban Meyer won a national title after taking over a team that had a single down season preceded by a zillion straight Big 10 titles every other coach's performance has to be measured against that? OK, I guess just about every other coach ever sucks.Michigan had a billion seniors, a bunch of NFL prospects and eight home games. The results? Another loss to OSU. No B1G title. No playoff. Please. They lost 3 games by 5 points. Season was disappointing but not a reflection of poor coaching or anything like that. They had a bad offensive line yet managed to be in every game.
Michigan will be decent but very young next year and very good thereafter. All is well.
Urban has done a great great job at Ohio st. He's a phenomenal coach. But he also made his turnaround against Brady hoke and a PSU team under sanctions. Further, he took over a team that had down year, yes, but a great foundation of the tressel tattoo era. Far diff situation than fixing three years of hoke who is a MAC coach at best.
The Winningest Program in College Football History and the Victors of the West are now reduced to saying they managed to be in every game in a season with a ton of seniors and eight home games. What a time to be alive. This is so stupid. Michigan was buried for years and now all you guys seem obsessed with them so Harbaugh has done his job.
But more to the point, they are basically never out of a game and look about as good as anyone they play and they are a hell of a lot of fun to watch and a hell of a lot of fun to follow again, but yeah they lost by three inches and you know what that is so I guess they are the suckiest suck in the history of suck.
What sort of heat?Michigan continually could not close games in the final two minutes. So I'd say there should be some heat
Some heat? What does that even mean? Harbaugh on the hot seat?Michigan continually could not close games in the final two minutes. So I'd say there should be some heat
I don't see many Michigan fans denying that the program was down for a long time. The Winningest Program in College Football History and the Victors of the West are now reduced to saying they managed to be in every game in a season with a ton of seniors and eight home games. What a time to be alive.

What Clemson does with Hunter doesn't showcase his quickness IMO. I know the kid well. I think they will feature him over the next few years in a way that shows off his quickness more. He's actually starting to get the ball on screens and on short passes with some space. He didn't see much of those type of catches last year.He clearly can go over the middle and has good hands...is he as quick as welker/Jules/Troy brown? Pats love those guys who dominate the quickness drills
You've accomplished the impossible - making me miss Yammer. At least he's kind of witty.Michigan had a billion seniors, a bunch of NFL prospects and eight home games. The results? Seriously Ohio State lacks depth at the posting position. You've accomplished the impossible - making me miss Yammer. At least he's kind of witty.
Seriously, I'm a bit concerned about his well-being. Someone with his phone # please text and see if he's tOKay.
No. He doesn't. 11W already posted the post-mortem.Don't you have a game to watch?
It's obviously more fun reminiscing over the win against Michigan than watching Clemson blank Ohio. It's even kind of painful for me to watch. Has Ohio gained more yards on penalties than rushing or passing?Don't you have a game to watch?
Ohio State is getting its ass kicked tonight - all the credit to Clemson. Considering they're the youngest team in the country and lost five first-round picks this year and 12 overall and still demolished Oklahoma on the road, won at Wisconsin, beat Michigan again and made the playoff, I'd say it's not all that bad.I mean the fans of the great Ohio State and the great Urban Meyer are reduced to talking about a game they won five weeks ago while they are actually in the College Playoff. What a time to be alive.

He misses Tom Herman. Not talking smack - serious question...has Barrett regressed or not developed much? He was seen as a prodigy when he was a freshman, no? He has seemed pretty marginal as a passer this year.
Maybe that's it, because it seems like he's regressed to me.He misses Tom Herman.
I have to admit I sort of cracked up when I saw that.Weird seeing the interception return with the Clemson guy lying there twitching.
Very clever play, Dabo. Great execution.
I didn't think Clemson had a shot against Alabama last year, but I think they do this year.
Amusingly, the wikipedia page has already given the game to Clemson.
The line has been pretty bad in protection. Prince has been a big liability and Jordan has a lot of talent but has gone through freshman growing pains. They lost three OL starters (including a first-rounder), Elliott, Thomas, Vannett, Miller and Marshall - I don't think even Alabama could replace that in a year. Elflein and Price are the only other two returning offensive starters - that's a ton of turnover.Ohio st will be very good next year - no doubt
Edit: any thoughts on my Barrett question? Genuinely curious to get your take
This.I mean the fans of the great Ohio State and the great Urban Meyer are reduced to talking about a game they won five weeks ago while they are actually in the College Playoff. What a time to be alive.
Yeah they are cooked. Clemson looks legit.A touchdown to almost make things interesting would be nice, but even then who thinks they could score ten at this point, minus a turnover.
