See if the Pelicans will give us next year's #1 to trade spots.

Is there even the remotest, slightest chance that the Celtics could trade their entire draft to LA to move up one spot? The Lakers need a ton of players.

Not so bad, all we need to do is to start spreading vicious rumors about Simmons and hyping up Bender as the next great player. Any suggestions?

Yeah, not sure there will be many worse trades in NBA history once this is done. Brooklyn should stink again, too.
Exactly! This isn't remotely close to over for them.....they have to watch us at the top of the lottery each of the next two years barring anything ridiculous happening.

What about the Sixers? 3 and next year's Brooklyn pick plus a few others this year? If they can't trade for an established player, I would probably cash in now and go for broke. Take Simmons and hope for the best.

Yeah I don't understand why everyone is distraught. The most likely a lot for us was 5 and the second most likely was 4.....we dodged them both.
We just like to moan and complain, like there's never a chance for a good pick after no. 2.

If you believe Bender can reach his potential (this guy can flat out shoot at 7'1!!), it's absolutely him for he is the future of the NBA. #Positionlessbasketball

Of course he could not reach his potential and then he's a big bust as a leaner, taller version of the white dude they already have.

Buddy Hield should be the pick if they don't trade it. They absolutely need a scorer.
They need a shot blocker more

He's still be the 4th best guard and 3rd best defender of the guards
I like Murray better but there's no good fit anyway

Hoping they trade for a veteran star, ideally one that can help bring a superstar via FA

Probably the safest pick they could make at 3. Not really 3 worthy but in a draft devoid of the spectacular, he's a good prospect to be a solid rotational guy for years to come. There will be much worse than that picked in the rest of the lottery.

If 5 #1s or whatever it was couldn't upgrade them to the Frank Kaminsky spot it's hard to see a move up into the top 2 that doesn't cost them something like the better of the two 2018 picks and a bunch of other stuff.

Prefer Murray, I think in limited viewings of both him and Hield. Feel like Murray is much more dynamic of a scorer, although Hield would be fine as well. Really not interested in Dragan. Don't see how he fits, unless they are absolutely sure he's the next Dirk or something close.

Really thought they would nab a top two pick, but can't complain. Thank you, Brooklyn.

You'd give up a couple rotation guys and the better of the two 2018 picks in a heartbeat to move up, unless you're bearish on Ingram (or Simmons) or really bullish on Bender. But I don't think the Lakers would be interested.

The more I reflect, the more I realize it's hard to have an opinion without knowing a lot more than any of us know about Bender.

Isaiah Thomas: "You can't be mad at the third pick. Hopefully we can either pick a great player in this draft, or use it for something else."
