i wouild say scheme denver loves to rush even if they do not get there they force overthrows extra qb hits but they do give up at least 1 2 big plays a game i know joshua bealley beat harris once for a 35 40 yard gainHey j-man, Denver's secondary seems to be particularly good at shutting down the short passing game. Is that due more to scheme or Chris Harris Jr.?
LOL idk if we can stop gronk because TJ Ward is a very dirty player loves to go for the big hit too hopefully denver can put tailb or darien stewart on gronk part time and Brandon marshall ilb very fast on key 3rd downsHow do you see them handling Gronk this week? I'll hang up and listen.
Bruton is a core st Guy he is a try hard player but gronk wouild be a hugemismatch for himWhich DB do you expect will be primarily responsible for neutralizing Gronk? Bruton would seem like the obvious candidate, but as Patriots fans will fondly remember, Talib did a hell of a job against Jimmy Graham a couple of years ago.
Edit: Oops, beaten to it by GC.
Don't sweat it, jman, as the Patriots can't even field 3 healthy receivers right now.what worryed me is your 3rd down packages aga denver birtz denver does seems to stuggle with a 5 WR look
lolThe Broncos ran for a season high 170 yards last week. How much of that is due to Osweiler running Kubiak's offense versus Denver just facing the poor run defense of Chicago?
Also, how is Evan Mathis looking? I heard Greg Bedard say that early on Mathis struggled while battling some minor injuries but he's finally starting to play well. Your thoughts?
Oh fuck I forget the knee hunter is on Denver. My subconscious must have blocked it out.LOL idk if we can stop gronk because TJ Ward is a very dirty player loves to go for the big hit too hopefully denver can put tailb or darien stewart on gronk part time and Brandon marshall ilb very fast on key 3rd downs
nvm. Johnny already covered it. George needs to read all the posts before responding.what worryed me is your 3rd down packages aga denver birtz denver does seems to stuggle with a 5 WR look
he is athletic enough to do so but denver does move him around and veron davis is becoming the 3rd target along with cody LCan Malcolm Butler shut DThomas down 1-on-1
yes but backs have to be fast or denver d has to tire like the indy gameHow does the run defense look without Knighton? They're still statistically very good, but a couple teams (like KC) have had success on the ground against them. Is there a potential weakness there?
I wouldn't call Blount fast, but he's strong as all get out. I liked what we saw of White Monday night. Hope to see more of it.yes but backs have to be fast or denver d has to tire like the indy game
blount is very strong but as long as denver def is not on the field the whole game denver should be able to contain blountI wouldn't call Blount fast, but he's strong as all get out. I liked what we saw of White Monday night. Hope to see more of it.
the players who will replace ware are shaq Barnett and Shane ray barnett can show pass rush flash but is small and can be run on ray is good but need a year of weight training and more reps like to pass rush but not a compete LBWare is not playing. Please comment on the effectiveness of the player or players who will take his place and how big you see the drop off. And anything else on the impact of the loss of Ware would be appreciated.
And while I'm here, how hostile is the Denver crowd to fans in other colors? I know it's tough to generalize but any thoughts on that would be appreciated. (There was a chance that I was going to be out there. Did not happen but it caused me to wonder a bit.)
sorry to hear that and that was a great game shanny did 1 of his best coaching jobs that day making Danny kankall a good qbI've seen the Pats play in Denver about five times and it's not a very warm environment. It's entirely a Pats/Denver thing too - other team's fans don't have any real issues there whatsoever, not the case with New England. Worst I experienced was having a beer thrown at me and my dad for wearing NE hats (it was the intentional safety snapped through the end zone game).
I'm pretty sure they're all Kubiak coached teams (either offensive coordinator or head coach in the case of the Texans game). I guess to get a sense of what type of offense to expect the Broncos to run. What relevance did any of those videos have to do with Sunday?
If he hasn't changed things up in 14 years, they have some problems.I'm pretty sure they're all Kubiak coached teams (either offensive coordinator or head coach in the case of the Texans game). I guess to get a sense of what type of offense to expect the Broncos to run.
+ 1 i shouild had only done the 2009 gameI'm pretty sure they're all Kubiak coached teams (either offensive coordinator or head coach in the case of the Texans game). I guess to get a sense of what type of offense to expect the Broncos to run.
